President, RCOG

Welcome Colleagues
On behalf of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), I am delighted to invite you to the 33rd AICC RCOG Annual Conference in Kolkata. This is a wonderful opportunity to hear about the latest developments and innovations in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and in particular how these apply to the needs of girls and women in India.
Through a wide range of high-quality lectures and presentations, as well as the more informal networking opportunities provided by the Conference, delegates will gain greater knowledge and valuable insight into key issues across our specialty.
There will also be the opportunity to hear the very latest news from the RCOG. All five RCOG Vice Presidents will be attending the Conference alongside me. We very much look forward to meeting as many of our Fellows, Members and Associates from India to better understand how we can support your work to improve girls’ and women’s health and healthcare across the country. Sadly, this AICC RCOG Conference in September 2019 marks the last official meeting for the current team of Officers before our tenure comes to an end. So we will be making the most of this opportunity to meet friends and colleagues, old and new, and ensuring that we continue to build on the relationships we have developed over the past three years. I look forward to seeing you in Kolkata.
